Your Head “Gourmetologist”
What started out as a dream in 2012 has now become a reality for former cosmetics industry executive and lifelong foodie, Andi Marcus. Marcus turned her gastronomic dreams into a new professional passion; bringing people and food together in an intimate country setting at her Ottawa Valley farm house. Her concept, aptly named DineOver™, brings food-lovers and eonophiles together for all inclusive overnights or weekends in the country. The quaint home features a rustically elegant vibe, stellar views across 350 acres of pristine farmland and comfort food that takes farm-to-table gastronomy to the next level. All meals are prepared using only locally sourced and farm-raised products and the Babbling Gourmet kitchen garden provides endless supplies of organic vegetables during the summer months.
Marcus has tapped into a concept that she feels will soon become a growing trend. “I wanted to take the Bed & Breakfast concept and reverse it. I see the overnight stay, or DineOver as I have affectionately named it, as an extension of the dinner parties we host here…not the main objective” she says.
